Before I get started on the list please let me explain this is not a measure of technical ability or record sales or anything. This is just lists about musicians I like that play my favorite instrument – The Bass. I do have to give a massive shout out to Geezer, he’s not on the list, but we all have to talk about the influence. On with the show:

My #3 favorite bass player is none other then thrash metal godfather Lemmy!

So the question is why? Well to start what do you call a 65-year-old bass player, that has massive ****** warts, muttonchops, slept with over 2000 women, and loves LSD? Well you call him a Lemmy. That should be enough explanation shouldn’t it.

In all seriousness, Lemmy isn’t really talked about much when your talking Bass Players. What Lemmy does get talked about is his influence on the Metal scene. With the resurgence of heavy music Lemmy and Motorhead are getting the due they deserve. Lemmy will never refer to Motorhead as Metal as he prefers to call them Rock & Roll, but lets face the facts. I’ve see this band live twice and both times I lost a few years off my hearing. They are the loudest band I have ever heard.

Also hearing other bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Ozzy, even punk bands like Greenday talk about the influence Lemmy has had on their music is amazing. Lemmy can call it what he wants, but he truly is the godfather of thrash metal and without him we wouldn’t have the brand of music we love so much.

Lemmy has appeared on a lot of TV/Radio media, even having Triple H of WWE fame wear the mutton chops in homage to his musical hero. Coming up is a Lemmy rockumentary that will be a must see for all fans. I guess Lemmy’s not on my list for his bass playing, but for paving the way for the musicians I love today and for playing some kick *** music.

One word describes the CD Blueprint from Jay-Z… AWESOME!

I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Blueprint. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Blueprint is a nicely varied, mix of 13 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly outstanding artist. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They’re all here.

If you’re a Jay-Z fan, or just a fan of Rap music this is a CD your collection simply should not be without.

While the entire CD is really very good the truly standout tunes are track 6 – U Don’t Know, track 8 – Heart Of The City (Ain’t No Love), and track 13 – Blueprint (Momma Loves Me).

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – The Ruler’s Back. This is a great track!

There are many types of brands which can be bought by users in the MP3 market today. MP3 players are now made by many companies and come with a host of other features besides listening to music. Hence the user can enjoy his music with the help of a Shuffle MP3 player which have a storage capacity of up to 128MB and provides great quality in terms of music quality and overall device performance. There is also another brand which serves the dual purpose of playing songs and displaying their lyrics on an orange PLED screen. The exceptionally talented Pop group Ginuwine have released their CD entitled Ginuwine The Bachelor. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Ginuwine fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Ginuwine The Bachelor their artistic excellence is on full display as they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be their best work to date.

Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Ginuwine The Bachelor has a pleasantly varied, mix of 18 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly outstanding musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

Ginuwine The Bachelor is a first rate CD, delivering a little something for everyone. I give it two thumbs up. It’s quite simply great listening. A must buy if you’re even mildly into Pop music.

While the entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 6 – Lonely Daze, track 11 – World Is So Cold, and track 17 – 550 What?

Sheffield boasts lots of culture & entertainment, including fabulous theatres, museums & galleries. its england’s greenest city, with fifty parks. Crime statistics also show that it’s one of england’s safest cities.

Sheffield is located close to Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham & the Peak District.

By the fourteenth century, Sheffield was already famous for the manufacturing of knives, and by the 1600s it was at the middle of of cutlery production in britain. These industries led to the speedy growth of sheffield, which saw the town being made a borough in 1843 and gaining city status in 1893.

Sheffield remained a major industrial city throughout the first half of the 20th century, although world wide competition led to the closure of numerous steelworks from the start of the 1970s.

There are loads of things to do in Sheffield, which include some exciting museums and galleries. One of the finest is the Millennium Galleries, which is near the the railway station. These galleries have permanent exhibitions based around the themes of art, nature and people. in addition to these, there’s touring exhibitions including a recent Vivienne Westwood retrospective.

On the other hand, you could try the Graves Gallery or Bishop’s House.

Sheffield has plenty to offer fans of shopping. the city boasts meadowhall, which is a enormous shopping centre with over 240 shops. The shopping centre opened its doors in 1990 and was one of the first out-of-town shopping malls in great britain.

Despite this, Sheffield city centre has some fantastic stores, too. in fact, you’ll find everything there, from high-street shops like new look, to kooky independent shops.

Sheffield is well-known for its nightlife, so it is a great location to visit for a night out. in actual fact, the city boasts numerous public houses, cocktail bars, & clubs.

Sheffield is home to great bands such as the arctic monkeys, pulp, the last shadow puppets & ABC. if you want to catch the next big thing, you could pay a visit to one of the city’s great live music venues, such as the leadmill.

Sheffield has great road links & can be reached easily from most huge uk cities. in addition to this, the city is well served by rail, with frequent trains running from Sheffield railway station to a vast variety of destinations throughout england.

There’s also an airport close by, Doncaster Sheffield Airport. The airport is situated 18 miles from the city centre & is mainly served by discount airlines, such as Thomsonfly.
